Connecting to the VPN

Instructions for installing and connecting to the company VPN on Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

Overview

The company VPN allows you to securely access internal resources when working remotely. This guide covers setup on all supported platforms.

Prerequisites

  • An active company account
  • VPN credentials (provided by IT on onboarding)
  • Supported OS: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, iOS 16+, Android 12+

Windows Setup

  1. Download the VPN client from the IT Downloads portal.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts.
  3. Open the VPN client and enter the server address: vpn.company.com
  4. Log in with your company credentials.
  5. Click Connect. The status indicator will turn green when connected.

macOS Setup

  1. Download the macOS VPN client from the IT Downloads portal.
  2. Open the .dmg file and drag the app to Applications.
  3. On first launch, grant the required network permissions in System Settings.
  4. Enter the server address and your credentials, then click Connect.

Troubleshooting

If the connection fails, verify your credentials haven't expired and check that your internet connection is stable. Contact the helpdesk if issues persist.
