Common Issues & Solutions
Can't connect to the network
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your device.
- Forget the network and reconnect: select the network → Forget, then reconnect with your credentials.
- Restart your device.
- If on a managed device, run Network Diagnostics from the IT agent.
Slow connection speeds
- Move closer to the access point.
- Disconnect other devices from the same network.
- Switch from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz band if available (look for networks ending in
_5G).
Keeps disconnecting
This is often caused by power-saving settings. To disable Wi-Fi power saving on Windows:
- Open Device Manager → Network Adapters.
- Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter → Properties.
- Go to Power Management tab.
- Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
