How to Reset Your Password

Step-by-step instructions to reset your account password through the self-service portal or by contacting the helpdesk.

Overview

If you've forgotten your password or your account has been locked, you can reset it using the self-service portal or by contacting the IT helpdesk.

Option 1 — Self-Service Password Reset

  1. Navigate to the login page and click Forgot Password.
  2. Enter your registered email address and click Send Reset Link.
  3. Check your inbox for an email from noreply@company.com. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within 5 minutes.
  4. Click the reset link in the email. The link is valid for 30 minutes.
  5. Enter your new password. It must meet the following requirements:
    • At least 12 characters
    • At least one uppercase letter
    • At least one number
    • At least one special character (!@#$%)
  6. Click Save New Password and log in.

Option 2 — Contact the Helpdesk

If you don't have access to your registered email, contact the IT helpdesk directly:

  • Phone: ext. 5400
  • Email: helpdesk@company.com
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM EST

You will need to verify your identity before a reset can be issued.

Troubleshooting

If the reset link is not working, ensure you're using the most recent link sent. Old links are automatically invalidated when a new one is requested.
