Why Use 2FA?
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your account, making it significantly harder for unauthorized users to gain access even if your password is compromised.
Supported 2FA Methods
- Authenticator App (recommended) — Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator
- SMS — One-time codes sent to your registered mobile number
- Email OTP — One-time codes sent to your email address
Enabling 2FA via Authenticator App
- Log in to your account and go to Settings → Security.
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
- Select Authenticator App and click Continue.
- Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed on screen.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app to confirm setup.
- Save your backup codes in a safe place — these can be used if you lose access to your device.
Logging In With 2FA
After enabling 2FA, each login will require you to:
- Enter your username and password as usual.
- Open your authenticator app and enter the current 6-digit code when prompted.
Codes refresh every 30 seconds, so enter it promptly after viewing it.
