Day 1 Checklist
- ☐ Pick up your device from IT or confirm it has been shipped.
- ☐ Power on and complete initial setup (follow the on-screen prompts).
- ☐ Log in with your company credentials (provided by HR).
- ☐ Connect to the corporate Wi-Fi network.
- ☐ Change your temporary password immediately.
- ☐ Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) — see the 2FA setup guide.
Week 1 Checklist
- ☐ Install required software from the Software Center.
- ☐ Set up company email on your mobile device (optional but recommended).
- ☐ Connect to the VPN — you'll need this when working remotely.
- ☐ Log in to the IT Service Portal and bookmark it.
- ☐ Review the IT Security Policy (linked in the portal).
- ☐ Introduce yourself to the IT team — we're here to help!
