Day 1 Checklist

  • ☐ Pick up your device from IT or confirm it has been shipped.
  • ☐ Power on and complete initial setup (follow the on-screen prompts).
  • ☐ Log in with your company credentials (provided by HR).
  • ☐ Connect to the corporate Wi-Fi network.
  • ☐ Change your temporary password immediately.
  • ☐ Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) — see the 2FA setup guide.

Week 1 Checklist

  • ☐ Install required software from the Software Center.
  • ☐ Set up company email on your mobile device (optional but recommended).
  • ☐ Connect to the VPN — you'll need this when working remotely.
  • ☐ Log in to the IT Service Portal and bookmark it.
  • ☐ Review the IT Security Policy (linked in the portal).
  • ☐ Introduce yourself to the IT team — we're here to help!
