Getting Started with the IT Service Portal

What Is the IT Service Portal?

The IT Service Portal is your central hub for all IT-related requests, updates, and self-service tools. You can access it at portal.company.com using your company credentials.

Navigating the Portal

  • My Requests — View and track open and closed tickets.
  • Service Catalog — Browse available IT services and submit new requests.
  • Knowledge Base — Search for articles and guides.
  • Downloads — Access approved software installers and tools.
  • Announcements — Read IT news, maintenance notices, and system updates.

Your Dashboard

The dashboard shows a summary of your open tickets, recent activity, and quick-access shortcuts. You can customize the shortcuts by clicking the Edit Shortcuts button in the top right of the dashboard widget.

Getting Help

If you can't find what you need in the portal, use the Live Chat button at the bottom right of any page to reach the helpdesk in real time during business hours.
